Dance Your Way Through American History

Welcome to Glen Morningstar Jr's website. Please click on any item in the list to the left to obtain more information on dance programs for traditional contra & square dancing, English Country Dancing, family & community dancing, Cape Breton dancing and the like.

If you have a need for a dance leader and caller, give me a jingle in Highland, Michigan at   248-889-3013 or zip me an email at You can also visit the website of The Olde Michigan Ruffwater Stringband at for a look at all the fun things we do with music and dance.

I have a ton of fun instructing and calling dances for beginning to advanced dancers in a range of settings from school artist-in-residence to Saturday Night Contra & Square Dances to wedding receptions to scout camps to traditional dance camps across the USA, Europe & Scandinavia. Historical dancing is particularly enjoyable as are my programs in "Dance Your Way Through American History".

Looking forward to hearing from you.
